Diablo 4 Lord Zir Skyhunter Farm Guide | U4GM
#1
If you are trying to get Skyhunter quickly, do not spend hours clearing every activity you come across. The Rogue bow is especially useful for Rapid Fire and Penetrating Shot setups, where its critical-hit effect can make a noticeable difference. The quickest route is to focus your time on Lord Zir, then use the Horadric Cube when your boss runs do not pay off. It also helps to keep your wider D4 items organised, so you are not stopping every few minutes to sort gear.

Build Your Farming Loop Around Lord Zir

Lord Zir is still the main target because Skyhunter sits in his loot pool. You will find him in the Ancient Seat, reached through The Darkened Way in the Fractured Peaks. Before heading there, set up a War Plan with activities that you can clear comfortably and quickly. The idea is simple: finish a chain of five endgame tasks, collect Lair Keys, and return to the boss without wasting time on long detours. A fast clear is usually worth more than a difficult activity with a larger-looking reward.

Make Every Boss Run Count

Once you have enough keys, run Lord Zir repeatedly and open the reward chest after each victory. Group play can help here, but only if everyone is ready to move between activities without extended pauses. Keep your inventory fairly clear, too. Skyhunter may not appear straight away, and a messy bag can slow the whole session. If the bow refuses to drop, do not treat the materials from those runs as useless. They can feed your next crafting attempts.

Use the Horadric Cube Between Runs

The Horadric Cube gives you another route, and this is where many players can save time. With five Exquisite Blood, use the Amalgamation recipe to roll from Lord Zir's associated Unique pool. It does not promise Skyhunter, but it gives those boss materials a second purpose. The Cube can also turn ordinary white bows into Unique equipment. This option draws from the wider bow pool, so it is less focused, yet it works well as a side project while you gather more blood.

1. Save Exquisite Blood instead of spending it the moment you find it. 2. Use Obols at the Purveyor of Curiosities when you need more basic bows. 3. Salvage or clear unwanted gear often, then return to the Cube with a tidy inventory. 4. Keep the bow with the better roll, even if the first Skyhunter you find is not perfect.

Keep the Routine Practical

A good session does not need to feel like a chore. Start with a War Plan, complete the chain, spend your keys on Lord Zir, and use spare materials at the Cube before repeating the loop. Check Skyhunter's stats rather than judging it only by its name; a weaker item power roll may not improve your current setup. If you would rather skip some of the gathering, browsing D4 items for sale can help you compare available gear while you keep farming for the ideal bow.
